BBWtodate is a member of the parent network, Bulova. This network is in the top three of scammy parent companies out there. These networks utilize the same tactics over and over to scam people and unless you’re watching closely, you might not even see the ways they are scamming you.
Duplicate Profiles
Bulova, like the other parent networks, creates almost identical templates, sites, profiles, and terms for all of its sites. There are little tweaks here and there to fit the dating preference, but for all intents and purposes, the content is the same.
If you decide to read the Terms and Conditions, (but who really does that) you will see that they clearly state that Bulova and BBWtodate create profiles and share them across their partner sites.
Promotional Messages
BBWtodate also states that they will market various products and services to you. These are computer-generated messages that appear to be sent from real people. While that doesn’t sound too terribly bad, you are agreeing to it with your membership and you can’t stop it, so that means an inbox that is blown up with garbage. I’d much rather have an inbox of cute plus-sized ladies looking to really meet me!
Activity Alerts
Another shady thing that BBWtodate likes to do is make it seem like their site has more activity than it actually does. These Activity Alerts are there to supposedly to let you know when someone new joins or uploads more pictures. In actuality, these alerts are just another method to try and get you to pay more money. If you want you to read the message, you have to upgrade your membership.
Date Boosters
BBWtodate is another site that uses Date Boosters. They state that this is a way to improve your chances of finding a date on their site. Their terms say that if you opt in for the boosters, your information will be shared across their various sites, opening up the dating pool and making it more convenient for you.
But, when you join, you automatically agree to have your profile shared within their network of conventional and niche dating sites. I don’t know about you, but if I join a site, I don’t want anyone taking my information to use for their own purposes and I certainly want to know what niche dating sites I might be seen on! Oh, and you’re charged $19.99 a month three times over.
Also, an important thing to note, if you are taken in by their shady methods, you can’t get reimbursed for them and if you put up a stink, they will cancel your membership. Which would be just fine with me, truthfully.

Anything related to Bulova has proven time and again that they are a scam. The sites are cheap and fake looking, the members are bots or paid third-party contractors, and you aren’t going to find anyone to date. And did I mention, you will be charged for all of that nonsense!
Seriously, if you want a BBW date, you can find much better, more legitimate adult date sites out there for a fraction of the price. Now, go find that sexy plumper and have yourselves a great time!
