I know you want to read this review to have an idea of what Datehookup is all about and how it works on the site. You are of course in the right place. I will try as much as possible to make your time worth it reading this review.
Datehookup is another dating site that claims to be 100 percent free, unfortunately, as you would find out is not. You are right to think there is no such thing as a free online dating site. There is, and Datehookup is not one. You may want to know they are mostly not worth trying.
The site assured to offer a remarkable online dating experience for their numerous users. If all you want is to have fun with singles near you, the site claimed to be a place for you. That the site is free is the first evidence it is deceitful. You will probably not find what you are looking for, to hook up with other singles near you.
You will find out why you should not join Datehookup if only you would read my review of the site all through. Are you ready? Here we go.
My Review of Datehookup After Signing Up
You will find just under their name on the site the heading that they provide a free online dating. Sadly this is not true. You will not discover the claim is false at least not until you are deep into the site. You often than not end up paying to use dating sites that claim to be free. Datehookup is not an exception.
I don’t see anything wrong paying to use an online dating site. The only thing wrong is some playing on your intelligence. I believe you deserve the truth and deserve to get the best for your money. It is rather unfortunate that Datehookup is much more interested in your money than getting you hooked up. You will find out more about the site as you read on.
It is pretty much easier to know the site is a scam simply by reading their terms and conditions. Right there you will find evidence of their scam which they purposely put there to entice and deceive you. While signing up, you have to agree to receive messages from the site or a third party company. Typical of dating sites but you don’t necessarily have to agree to it.
They also lay claim to your profile and everything you upload on the site, isn’t that ridiculous? They are simply saying they can upload your profile on as many other dating sites as they like. That they do to others and as a result make it difficult to differentiate between fake and real people.
I tried scanning through the site for hot girls in my neighborhood after completing my profile setup but couldn’t find any. Though I saw some girls on the site, none caught my attention to chat with let alone set up a date.
Messaging on Datehookup
Messages I got on the site are obviously fake and probably auto-generated, by robots? Your guess is as good as mine. The pattern of the messages indicates they are fake especially if you have an idea of scam tactics.
That you are frequently asked to sign up for membership is evidence the site is not free. Unless you pay, you can neither reply to messages nor send out some of your own. You will immediately see a pop-up with paid membership options from which to choose.
Phone calls and Hooking up
Find a member’s phone number and set up a meeting? Come off it dude, not even a chance. Finding a real person on Datehookup is a difficult task let alone getting a real phone number to call. There is no way of setting up a real date. Surprised? Don’t be; remember you agree to receive random fake messages while signing up.
There are real people on the site but not too many of them. That makes it a nightmare to find a girl with whom you can hook up. I explored the site so well but couldn’t find a girl on the site to go on a date with me. Don’t waste your time on this site, learn from me.
Deleting your profile on Datehookup
You might not be convinced with my review of Datehookup and joined anyway; it’s your choice. Do you change your mind and want to get out of the site? Here is how to go about it. It’s simple, on the site click on My Home and tap the Account Options menu; there you will see cancel my account.
Cancelling your account should usually delete your profile, but hell no, it is still there for them to use. Consider reaching them on support@datehookup.com to delete your account.
Conclusion
I can tell Datehookup is not free, not a real online dating site and will spam you with fake messages. The site has a good layout and is easy to navigate. I will suggest you search elsewhere for real online dating (try this here) where you pay and get a good experience for your money.
