There are thousands of dating sites worldwide. With this overabundance of ways to meet someone online, there is going to be a fair share of scam sites out there looking to take your money with false promises of a hot date. FlirtLocal is one of those sites. It is 100% a scam and I will show you exactly why you should avoid this site at all costs.
Note: I am not the only person that finds this site a complete rip-off. Numerous other dating site reviewers have posted that FlirtLocal is a complete scam. I love flirting and we should all do more of it, but not at a huge expense and with bots and fake people.
FlirtLocal Review Reveals All
What is FlirtLocal?
FlirtLocal is a site that claims to have over 1.7 million “not members” looking for a good time. And I mean hot. If you look at the profiles, the majority of the women are a solid 9 out of 10. We’re talking supermodel girls here. Legitimate dating sites cannot just have super beautiful people on there, there must be a mix of “normal” people and the hotties. When something is too good to be true, it usually is, and this site is one of those “too goods”.
I have read that FlirtLocal is known for having people set up fake profiles. This is done in an attempt to lure more men to join the site. To me, a site with fake profiles and a ton of beauties is a site that is very suspicious.
Good God, The Emails!
Seriously, once you sign up on FlirtLocal, you’re going to get bombarded with emails. Like hundreds of girls hitting your inbox hard once your account is going. This is a bad sign and these women are more than likely fake, so don’t get yourself too excited. I set up a fake profile and put up an ugly-ass picture and was hit with a ton of emails instantly.
What really is a bunch of bull, is that when you get these hundreds of emails, you can’t reply to them. Yes, you read that right. When you get an inbox that is on fire, you can’t do a thing about it. Well, that’s not exactly true. If you pay FlirtLocal $29.95, you can talk to whatever fake lady you want. And that’s the basic level, they actually have membership levels for much, much more. Hey, I know that nothing is free in life and I’m ok with paying for a membership to a dating site that works, but I’m definitely not ok with paying my hard-earned money to be scammed!
Terms on FlirtLocal
Take a look at the terms on flirtlocal.com. Seriously, stop and read them. They are telling you straight-up that they create fake profiles and send out auto messages to their members. Also, they tell you that if you meet someone from the site, they may be paid to meet you. They put all this in a place that very few go, the fine print and they do it to protect their own asses. By stating all the ill-intent, they are making sure they can’t be sued or be forced to return your membership dues.
And, if you do want to try and get your membership fees back, good luck as FlirtLocal is based in Guernsey. Companies go to Guernsey to avoid paying taxes and it makes it that much more difficult to get your money back.
If I Haven’t Convinced You Yet
Maybe you think I’m just being bitter. Well, if I haven’t convinced you yet that FlirtLocal is a scam, watch this 5-minute FlirtLocal review. You can also head over to Ripoffreport.com and read the hundreds of complaints against HK International Limited, the parent company of FlirtLocal. These reviews state that all the companies that HK Int. Lt. owns are the same, scams with no ability to get your money back.
Take a look online, too. Do a web search of FlirtLocal.com and you’ll see I’m not the only one that finds them to be a scam.
If you still aren’t convinced that FlirtLocal is going to be nothing more than a headache for you, go ahead and register. When you are scammed, make sure to contact the Better Business Bureau. BBB.org and file a report. If you can’t get your money back, make sure you let the BBB know that too.
Seriously, FlirtLocal Sucks
FlirtLocal is a total scam, there is no other way to say it. Yes, they disclose the fact that they’re scamming, if you read the stuff we all tend to ignore, but I don’t think a site that tells you outright that you’re being scammed is a great one. If you already joined FlirtLocal and want to cancel your membership (and hopefully get your money back) here is their contact information:
